Following the overwhelming success of existing stores in Belfast, Newry and Strabane, the new Kennedy Centre outlet will open on 26th November.
Covering 12,000 square feet and spanning two floors, the new modern unit will not only house the O’NEILLS flagship retail store but will also incorporate state of the art office and conference facilities and will become the distribution base for the company’s growing internet sales department.
It is anticipated the venture will create up to 20 new jobs mostly made up of retail and clerical staff.
Acquired for O’NEILLS by Commercial property consultants McCallin Carr, the store is situated in the heart of the Kennedy Centres recent extension alongside Sainsbury’s new store, the O’NEILLS store is guaranteed to see a stream of eager customers, both new and old, to its doors. The store will offer fashion conscious sportswear consumers a fresh experience and identity through the introduction of new lines and the reintroduction of limited edition classics and old favourites. The Silver Label Classic and Retro collections, deriving inspiration from O’NEILLS long sport history and heritage, represents a perfect fusion of sport authenticity and contemporary street style. Through these new lines together with the hugely successful replica and leisurewear markets O’NEILLS aims to expand its customer base.
